If I remember correctly, it just basically points and vents to anywhere lol. I didn't really look at the instructions much. I would just connect it to a catch can, but make sure the catch can vents to atm

How was it! What psi did you use? I'm surprised the axles didn't break! You are pretty low!

it was really nice

i used 7psi to be safe, but holy moly i had so much fun.
being low at willow springs isnt an issue but i think i would of gotten a better track time if my suspension was more track ready lol.

the drive to the track but bumpy but worth it!

Is the fbm base tune safe to drive on? I'm still waiting on my clutch to arrive and install it. So I might not be able to get a tune until later.. I'm not pushing it hard, or wot at all. Most I've gone is 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. Just daily driving, with a few rolling into it here and there.
I logged a bit of driving and it recorded some knock like 1-3 degrees? Just wanted some input on people's thoughts on it.

the stock tune is only to get your car moving to get it properly tuned

you should be fine if your staying off boost but still get a tune ASAP

The fact that you are logging it means you at least know what you are doing. As long as you realize it is meant to be a 7 psi basemap and as long as the AFRs are good, then I would have no issues with you going out and making some third and fourth gear boost pulls to test your installation and make sure everything is working properly prior to getting a proper tune, but you better have a boost/wideband gauge to monitor things during the pulls and stop if things go wrong.

I've watched my boost psi and the highest its been is 5 because I'm not going wot. I watch all the numbers through the open flash tablet I had from before. So far boost and afr look good and normal.
Just waiting on the clutch to get here to install it before going to get a tune. The wait is killing me!

Hi guys. I had a local shop order the stage 1 kit from FBM, and there are numerous unevenness/warping at the flanges on the downpipe and manifold. I'm no expert, but the local shop, PSI in Tucson, AZ, absolutely refused to install the kit onto my car in its current state. What do you guys think? Does everyone's look the same when theirs arrived?

Did that come from FBM directly or someone else?

We resurface them to seal on the sealing surface. It would not be a problem with sealing. We explained that some flanges are sometimes are not taken all the way down on the edges otherwise it would be extremely thin. We will be in contact with the shop who is doing the install.
