There is ups and downs to every province it looks like, from what I understand Quebec is Extremely strict on modifications,

from what I have experienced, they are harder on Ontario drivers, but that could be all in my head, I was impatient following a slower driver, going below the speed limit, full view ahead passed on a double, no view of police and got a ticket. They magically appeared like bad gas and hit me with a ticket, I have X-Copper fighting it, next court date September - i'm trailing off, my main focus was on mod's Ontario seems to be a lot more lenient on modifications than Quebec.

If the lines were solid, that's something you'd get busted for anywhere I would imagine.

Thanks UMB FR-S. In the end I decided to not provoke my OCD and so I installed the supplied center mount bracket.

I used the zip-tie method that I found on this forum, so if I ever change my mind, there are no holes in the grill to worry about.

Question: does anyone thing that mounting it somewhat low on the grill count impede on the air flow into the intake?

Thanks for your input Slick. As stated above, I decided to stick with the provided center mount.

If you passed on a double-yellow in Quebec, it is illegal to do so.
In Ontario, it is a warning (yellow marked) while a double-white would be illegal.

No sweat. As for centre placement, yes it impedes a bit of airflow but only a concern if you are tracking. I leave mine one even at the track, have run this way for 3 years.

Slick, you actually gave me an idea. Since I zip-tied my plate mount to the grill, I may just remove it when I track the car.

This will have the added benefit of getting better lapping pictures since the plate will be off.

So who's coming out to Lamborghini Montreal tomorrow for Cars & Coffee?
Black List Rally will be there, and they're leaving around noon to continue on their trip.

Afterwards I'll be heading over to Gabriel Scion
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92044

Which is right beside Prestige Porsche, so we can all go window shopping.

AND THEN I'm probably going to Tremblant with my girlfriend.
Who's up for an awesome car day?

*drones may fall on your car
