Avoid Pilkington: I've had 2 on my 2019 BRZ (I have bad windshield luck) and they both were the waviest I've ever encountered.

If you need a new windshield, the best option may be to go with a company that offers a no-hassle, no-fuss replacement service. This is especially helpful if you have to take your car in for service or repair elsewhere in the meantime.

Safelite did mine and it fogs up quite a bit at night and early am. Driving to work in Florida with the heat on is miserable in the summer

I've seen wavy aftermarket windows and I'm not a fan. I have a 3+ foot crack on mine right now and have zero desire to replace it. Started with a rock chip on day 6 of owning the car (truck in the OPPOSITE direction kicked up a rock) and now it's a giant crack across 2/3 of the windshield. Meh.

All the reports of wavy glass have me wondering: don’t DOT regulations cover aftermarket safety related parts? I’d think optical inferiority would be showstopper.
