Point is, the only way not to be a poser is to actually have the parts. The computer will compensate, but you can only change a static mechanical setting so much. Cams will change the tone of idle and performance of the vehicle, tuning will do the rest.

Ok, so some people want this mod, some people don't like it. What's new? How about the debate moves to a new thread and we keep this one On Topic?

Is there any progress on the ghost cam? Is there a way for the people who want this to get it? @steve99 @aagun do you have any plans to make this patch available to buy or is it more complicated than a customized tune? Could this be done through OFT??

I would actually laugh my ass off at anybody showing up at a meet with this "mod".

Being 55 and also knowing what this is about, my first thought would be "what's wrong with your engine". This might be another appropriate use for "you bought the wrong car".

A mod for doing nothing but sitting at idle in a parking lot. Who's impressed by this? LOL, now we are going to have ghost-cam idle volume wars instead of fart-can rev-limiter bounces.

I took great pride in the idle that my 440 Magnum with a massive cam made. It was fun to watch people as it sat there barely turning over and gave that big THUMP every once in a while. The difference was that the cam was real and actually did something.
Let's just detune the engine so it runs like crap at idle so you can pretended to have something it doesn't. Then when it screws up they will blame everything but themselves.
I get, and usually agree with the whole "to each their own" car mods but this "mod" is nothing but a kid putting a card in his bike spokes and pretending to be a motorcycle.

My thought as well. I listened to that clip above and didn't think it sounded like a cammed motor. It sounded like it had something seriously wrong with it.

Exactly...it sounds like the ecu got stuck in cold start mode. Lumpy idle from being rich or wrong timing sounds totally different than one from a rowdy cam, properly tuned.
