They are the DAMD Vantage seat covers

https://www.86worx.com/damd-86-vanta...at-covers.html

I got them on ebay for much cheaper though.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/DAMD-Premiu...wAAOSwZapZxyAV

back then they were about $400-450

Those are the DAMD seat covers. Japanese import typically necessary

They have the 17' + Steering wheel carbon fiber trim out now to go with the rest of your accents. I thought about going this route with the interior. Are any of the pieces replacements or all stick ons? They look good except the HVAC one which looks like a stick on.

Yeah I saw that. Not sure if I want it. If I get the ft86speedfactory steering wheel, that’ll just be way too much carbon. I think I’ll just pull it off and repaint it semi-gloss black.

All the trim pieces are stick on. Replacements are just way too expensive. The HVAC piece was the most expensive (actually until I got the gauge cluster piece) and it does look much better in person. I vastly prefer it to the oem scratchy black plastic surface

Installed this used DSS driveshaft I bought locally for a good price.

There are cool new metallic whirring noises during acceleration in first gear. More immediate response when getting on the throttle can be felt in gears 1-3. Gears 4 and above - no difference. As for NVH, it is very loud above 145 km/h but other than that almost zero difference. I think it needs to be rotated 90 degrees. Considering I don't drive that fast ever, I'll wait until next oil change to rotate it. Shifting feels crisper as well. Overall quite happy with the purchase. I think coupled with a lightweight pulley set, lightweight wheels and flywheel it'll be a noticeable difference.

Can't believe I hadn't seen your build. I love it! I installed the Velox carbon fiber driveshaft but haven't driven my car with it. Do you notice less on/off throttle slop or thrash?

Thanks man! Yeah like I mentioned, shifting feels crisper somehow and there is less slop. Keep in mind I have the diff, trans supports, perrin engine mounts, shifter insert from perrin I believe, so my slop was already reduced to a minimum. The driveshaft definitely is similar in the feel difference. I love the noises as well. Subtle but cool

Artisan Spirits parts that I ordered back in October '20 finally arrived. Now need to save up for paint+install.

Fairly aggressive looking thing, although paint should tone some of the aggression down.

Mesh is provided as well

Guessing that's what all those wires on the inside are for

And here's the wing

Will probably have this painted and installed sometime in July/August

Hope so! I miss having a wing. Went through 3 different ones until the third one flew off on the highway

Are the vents on the side functional? They look like it but I wonder what it'll look like with the mesh inside it.

Here's a pic:

I imagine if I had an oil cooler there, they would aid in cooling, kinda like the vents on the kouki BRZ. Should be useful if I choose to go down that route.

The car is being dropped off at the paint shop this weekend to have the Artisan Spirits bumper and wing painted!

Also saw this yellow gauge cluster by some Japanese company called Dangun Racing. They're no longer produced but someone referred me to Jesse Streeter who apparently specializes in shipping Japanese stuff to North America. I sent him the link from Amazon Japan and he took care of the rest. Hopefully I will have it soon

Also bought these new JDM Subaru exhaust hangers from Blackhawk Japan - 5 in total - in hopes that it'll cure the cabin exhaust resonance I'm getting from 2600-2900 rpm.

Got these Verus ECU and fuel rail brackets as well cause why not. One was a gift so I bought the other too.
