So, THIS time, you hooked the battery back up - right? -

Man this thread is full of trolling. I just replaced my battery and as expected the time resets to 12:00.. I set the correct time. Next morning it's off by hours. I'm thinking, "I know I reset this thing". I reset it again. Drive to work. Go back out to the car for lunch... it's hours off. "wait, am I going crazy". Reset it again. Next morning... wrong. So I am thinking maybe it's resetting back to 12 at some point while the car is off. So this morning I set it and then looked at the second hand on my watch and took note of exactly where it was when the car's clock ticked to the next minute. Then I drive 30mins to work. By the time I got to work it was ahead just over 3 mins. Drifting 1min ever 10mins makes it completely useless. So it looks like it isn't just drifting or resetting when the car is parked. It's drifting all the time.

I guess it's time to buy a new clock.

I think I will give this a shot but I'll do it by disconnecting the actual clock itself to avoid resetting the ECU. I hate resetting the ECU because the throttle response is garbage for 200 miles or so after the reset. The first 1/4in of travel is completely dead so when I blip for downshifts it completely ignores me.
