Need help with line out converter

K ive got my line out converter hooked to my 2 rear speakers, sounds like crap... bass all over the place never hitting right. If i tied the converter into my door speakers would it help isolate the bass? If not can someone point me twards a good head unit thats not 600$? Ive looked through alot of the fourms still cant find much... sorry if this isnt in the right place.. any help is appreciated thanks!

First, make sure the line inputs are the same polarity. Next, if your amp has a switch for phase, try that; if not you can reverse the leads going to the sub. That's the best I can do unless you can post more info / pics.

There are several relatively cheap aftermarket double DIN head units for less than $200 on amazon or ebay.

Tying into the door speakers wouldn't be any different from the rear speakers.

Sounds to me like you didn't do something right.

I went off this YouTube vid when I installed my amp. Zero problems

It's hard to hear and see but just pause and replay it a few times and you'll get it.
