Totally! The delivery guys took out the old one, and put down the new, and when I took off the panel to hook it up there was a plate that said 110, 20amp. I freaked and said WTF? They said it was 220! So I went to the manufacturer's site. What a relief. It is going up pretty quick.

Edit: actually it did say 120/20. I've just always heard 110 and 220 from my contractor buddies.

I must have pulled 15 paper towels out of the dispenser at the gas station pumps this morning before I got one that was actually useable and not just one of the corners.

At my previous job the janitors at the building did the same thing with the bathroom paper towels.

I like to think it was a passive-aggressive attempt from upper-management to "encourage" using the shit-blowers for cost-saving.

I have bad knees and ankles, and poor circulation in my legs. I use one year round. Helps a lot.

somewhere around the 90's, the average moved up. you'll see a lot of pre-90 stuff that says 110v input.

i've been told that there's something like a 10% allowable range from the power companies. so 12v, or 108-132 @120...

i believe the real reason for the change is voltage sag under load. the 60's, literally everyone was just running a coffee pot, a few light bulbs, a radio, and maybe a tv if they were fancy. once all the tech hit in the 80's, electrical demand rose, and it was easier to bump the average voltage up a little than to rebuild substations to deal with the extra draw at a lower voltage.

WAIT ONE!

YOU wired it up? -

110? 220? 440? Oh well, however, you may wish to put that steak thermometer in there before YOU get in.

I got it. Two hots, a ground and a neutral. It is working fine, like a Swiss car.

I started at 55° and am at 85° now. 19° more to go. This tub is so quiet.
