Post Toyota Customer Order Web Tracking

I received confirmation of my order yesterday.

I don't like the bit that states: "as soon as possible after the launch date".

I ordered at the start of January, and going by the first internal booklet from Toyota I was going to receive it by June, now it's looking like July, or even after.

Did u get it from your dealer or TMCA directly??

I was told by my dealer that my car is scheduled for production in mid June and I ordered end of Feb. I think it's got to do with spec, colour and gearbox that I selected. Also demand is high and the batch for Australia may have been delayed.

Im not expecting mine till xmas next year.

Personally aswell id like to see the pic at the top of that web page to be the car you have chosen.

I received an email from the salesman I have been dealing with. Who received it from someone else from another dealership under the same name. Who received it from the Sales Manager of the company.

I have send an email to my sales and he will get something for me on Monday from the stock controller at his dealer.

I didn't get anything like that from my dealer peeps. I ordered mine early Feb (I think).

Just out of curiosity, since you've only put down a deposit, it says you picked white and stuff and its on its way, well soon or probably later on. What if, it arrives and its time to do the paper work and you want to change the colour, would you have to pay extra, or do they paint the car for you after you've done the paper work?

cause I've seen dealerships have a painting booth (i think, or probably a car wash booth not sure always half asleep when i see it) I catch the train pass it every day for work. They leave the bonnet white and have the car a different colour.

I don't know what would happen. I'm not planning on changing colours, so I haven't thought about it. Though they originally said they were ordering two cars. Both white and manual, but one high spec and one low. I called the salesman up the same and said that I wanted the high spec without the Aero option. So hopefully he is able to change it.

As for the different colour bonnets, I thought it was for testing purposes.

Their is an Aero option in the high spec? what's in the Aero option, is that just a body kit?

i emailed the salesman and he got the info from his stock controller.

try emailing your salesman with a screen cap of the above.
