I just purchased some 3m double sided VHB and threw two lines on each skirt, IPA'd cleaned the car (and the skirt before the tape) and then popped 'em on.

Hopefully they stick forever. If not... I mean, $99 for knockoff skirts shipped from CA lol
A $99 "knock-off" aero kit is a bargain for one man, a very expensive fix for another when they peel off and decide to thwack the car behind..

So a few folks have said "hey, tape is great" and a few have said "hey! you need screws!"

So I'm meeting them all in the middle. I'm going to put a rivnut into the fender and one into the rear rocker and then I'm going to bolt/washer the front and rear of the skirts so they don't go anywhere.

I'm curious - do the skirts do *anything* in terms of car performance or is it just the look?

So the rear went on today. Mostly easy. Had to remove the oem mudflaps I installed a while back. It uses two existing mounting points on each side of the rear bumper so if you're going to do this, make sure you get the second plastic clip actually aligned and through all THREE pieces of the bumper before pushing the center in to lock it.

ALSO, before installing the rear spoiler since it comes with ZERO instructions, install the edging that's supplied in the bag BEFORE mounting the thing to the car. It's a GIANT pain to do this after mounting. Ask me how I know...

I'll probably do the front lip tomorrow and the skirts next weekend.
I have been looking for a rear diffuser for the 17+ cars and haven't had much luck That looks exactly like what I am after. Where did you order it from?

Just make sure if you get it, to install the gasket looking rubber on the edge BEFORE installing it lol

For the bit over a year that I lived in california, I thought the number of signs they have on everything is quite a bit ridiculous. Restaurants all have those diamond hazard signs like you see on the back of hazmat trucks and it just seems super extra.

And don't worry about the birth defects at this point. i don't think you're giving birth any time soon

I had a big issue here because we brought in some gloves with the Prop 65 warning on them. Of course all the guys freaked out that we were killing them! Contacted the manufacturer for more info and it turns out that if you eat 6 pairs or more you may be at risk of cancer. I instructed all the workers to not eat more than 5 pairs and they would be fine.

Basic black

She's not fancy, but she's mine. Subtle changes include smoked-out side marker lights, TRD badges on the wheel center caps, fender insert turn signals, "86" badges to replace the Toyota badges on the front and rear, and a red pinstripe accent on the side mirrors. I have never enjoyed driving a car I've owned as much as I have this one for the past two years. It's quite possibly the last car I'm ever going to buy.
