Apparently there was a pretty major update for Ready or Not and I'm extremely tempted to pick it up. Especially after the disappointment of EA(sports) WRC.

I haven't played it in a while but the AI was really, really good the last time I did pick it up.

Supposedly they are even better now. Almost as good as Rainbow Six from 1999 lol. By that, they actually execute commands effectively.

Has anyone played Alan Wake 2? I really enjoyed the first one and thought about picking up the sequel.

I've never head of it but it looks a little too horror for me
The gameplay LOOKS amazing though. I just think I'd get jump scared into turning it off.

Each to their own.
I bought it, played about 5 hours, refunded.

Alright I'm a bitch and this is more horror than I thought. The original was quite action-focused and reminded me of RE4 where I wasn't really scared at all, just tense.

Same. From watching that clip above, I already know this isn't a game for me no matter how much steam says horror is one of my top genre's this year. (Not all zombie things are true horror but okay steam)

New system and Window$ 11 nightmare…
OK so… my new gaming system showed up yesterday and I’ve been busy trying to get it set up and running.
Let me just say: I HATE WINBLOW$ 11 with a passion!!!! Nothing works like I think it should and this whole exercise was to satisfy Steam’s message about Win 7 no longer working which, so far, it still is!
(Used my good old system running Win 7 for play test again yesterday.)
Anyway, after about 9, yes, NINE hours of downloading, (which used over 50GB’s of Data) I now have AAPG, AAPG BETA and AA3 on the new system. I thought it would just load the base AAPG game. Then, I’d install the back up of all the UMM’s from a thumb drive. But Nope! It downloaded everything. OK so I try to play and I get kicked by Punk Buster every time I log into a server. I can’t find PB on my system even though I’ve supposedly downloaded twice!! So, I gave up and went on to try to load TeamSpeak.
Same thing, it’s nowhere to be found. So I copied the files from my old system to a thumb drive and placed them in the proper folder on the new system. But it won’t work until I login. So I fill in my details and it says I’m using the wrong password. So, I ask for a new password but TS tells me I don’t have an account so they want me to set up a new one. WTF???
I’ve been up since four o’clock after not going to bed till after midnight, just trying to get these two things working, Punk Buster and Team Speak. I hate getting old.

Haha Windows continues to follow the good version/bad version flip flop since back in the Millenium days.

98 = good
Windows Me = bad
Windows XP = good
Windows vista = bad
Windows 7 = good
Windows 8/8.1 = bad (granted 8.1 fixed everything wrong about 8...but its still 8...it was still primarily made for touch UI)
Windows 10 = good
Windows 11 = bad

On an different note, i have set myself up for the endgame of my B450 AM4 platform. Just awaiting a reasonable enough price for the Ryzen 7 5800x3D to make the plunge. In the meantime i have upgraded myself to 48GB of DDR4 RAM (i had 16GB of DDR4 2666mhz RAM, which apparently maxes out overclocked to just below 3000mhz if im lucky. I got a 32gb set of DDR4 3200mhz for use with the X3D. So right now im using 48GB @ 2666mhz and will drop it to 32gb @ 3200mhz when i change CPU's. Also picked up a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 CPU cooler for it too (dont need it right now but the x3D doesnt come with a cooler and i don't believe the Wraith Spire that i currently use with my Ryzen5 2600X is enough to cool an 5800x3D.

Luckily I've stuck with Windows 10. Even though my computer kept asking if I wanted to upgrade lol. My laptop, however, is Windows 11 and although I dont mind the system, I much prefer 10.

i'm not a M$ apologist, but I have run into no issues with WIN11, either at home or at work. Frankly, I can' tell the difference between 10 and 11, and I've used every M$ product since PC DOS 1.0 and was on the beta for most (good or bad).

It is definitely the cleanest of @Sasquachulator bad list.
