DO SOMETHING THAT HE WILL FORGET ABOUT NEXT WEEK TO ONE OF HIS BELONGINGS BECAUSE IT’S SUPER MINOR, COMPLETELY HARMLESS, AND WILL MAKE NO DIFFERENCE IN THE LONG RUN. YEAH!

Thanks for the interesting read everyone, entertaining. Kind of like reading about that Colorado cake shop case.

I’d ask the owner why he felt the need to rev it, like others have said and see his reaction. I assume the owner would feel a bit sheepish about being caught out.

If he was respectful after that, I’d let it go.
If he was rude after that then let him have it, both barrels.

Gen X’s opinion.

Nothing a proctologist and a jar of Vaseline can’t fix. Gone off topic a bit .

In all seriousness if he was rude i’d say “I’ll take my business elsewhere, blah, blah etc.” and maybe write a bad review depending on how pissed off I was.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the late reply (haven't been on here since i parked my car for the winter). I ended up confronting the owner to which he initially denied any wrong doing. He eventually agreed to the fact that he did rev my car but "only to 2-3k". It was very evident that he smacked the limiter (i know what my car sounds like in person and on video considering ive had it for 2 years) yet he persistently denied ever going that high. Any further discussion with him was useless. I paid in full and did NOT leave any review online. This due to the fact that it is a relatively small town (30k pop) and we own a business here so less drama/tension the better off in the long run. Definitely will not be going there again. Thanks again for all your input

For crying out loud people it is just a car. A few minutes idling and a couple of revs isn't going to hurt it. Some of these responses are just plain stupid.
I'd like to come to Canada and shit in your new seats. Seems you are OK with that. It's just a car.
