No one has objected to 12(noon) so I'm just leaving it at that since it was our departure time for last year as well. Seems everyone is on board, I know @carbonBLUE may be a little late or just catch up to us once we leave.

There isn't one lol. I didn't know where the meeting point was this year. And since last year we ate at the restaurant after everyone got their shirts. Since the meet at Toyota of Boerne starts at 5 pm and we are coming down 35, it shows it taking us 5 hours and 41 mins. plus stops.

Were you thinking stop somewhere in the SA area or somewhere else?

I see the meet starting at 6pm on Faceballs. Last time we met right outside of the resturant we ate at. This year we are not. I like food and will be hungry by the time we get to Toyota of Boerne.

so what is the verdict on the route down? sticking with the plan?

also @Jake_86 are you attending?

Haha okay. I don't think there is much in the Boerne area but if we stick with coming 35 then we can stop somewhere in SA. Pizza maybe lol

Are we sticking with the route? Otherwise we can take 35 to highway 46 in New Braunfels and then over to Boerne or take 281 like last year.

What are your thoughts on the different routes? I know I still want to do lime creek and I'm sure others do too, so we can work that into any of the 3 options above.

i was just curious since the mention of traffic, that is something we all dont want to get caught up in. (knowing me ill talk about guardrails to pass the time) jk jk but in all seriousness. @Shneegle was the traffic in both directions? and how long were you in traffic. if it is brief then it will give us a chance to regroup. its a long drive and i would like to not add an hour to the trip in stop and go traffic if possible.

Haha I know there will be more mysterious gaurdrail mentions with more traffic lol

I have the same feeling as you, I don't want to be stopped continuously. I'm fine with either 281 or 35. I think if we take 281 blue bonnet could be a late lunch/early dinner stop like last year if that works? If we take 35 we can make the Czech stop then pick a place closer like New Braunfels, SA, or Boerne for dinner. I think depending on traffic the dinner place could change if we are trying to make up time at that point to make it to the meet.

the stops are important. I will be at the thursday night meet. as im sure a lot of us will. I think we should wait then to finalize everything like last year and add it to the first post before the end of the night so everyone knows whats going on for friday. also, im sure others just want to be along for the ride and don't care which way we go.
