C6 Z06 vs LS7 Swap Frs

Would you rather have an ls7 drivetrain in the frs with the steering feel and lighter chassis or is the overall Z06 a better car?

Deciding whether to go down the path of an ls swap or just buy the Z06

If I was going to spend on $80k on something that doesn't fly or sail I would have bought a Z06. But since I had $30k I bought my 86 and she keeps me happy enough when I'm stuck on land.

If your income wasn't exactly claimable and buying a car over 10k would draw questions from the great guys and gals at the IRS, you'd be looking at either finding a Z06 roller and rebuilding or simply swapping out the frs you already own with an ls7. Do does anyone have enough affinity for the 86 chassis/feel to pay more than you would for the Z06 if they were near the same price in total?

More importantly can someone give me a reasonably accurate quote for a shop to complete the swap?

If you can't do the swap yourself just buy the Vette and be done with it. For the cost of having a shop do it you could pick up a couple of older ones.
The only place to get a reasonably accurate quote would be from a shop. Doesn't matter one little bit what somebody else paid.

Everyday driver on YouTube had an LS swapped Porsche 944 and it was awesome. So the twins would be great as well swapped. But the cost might be too high for what it is. Plus I think the twins are best when they stay thin and don’t get to fat.

All day every day Z06. It's a better platform from the ground up.
