Brake Pad for Dual Caliper Hydro e Brake

Fellow Drifters, what brake pads are you using for your dual caliper hydro e brake setup?

I'm currently running OEM BRZ rear brake calipers on my dual calipers.

My guess - whichever cheapest.
Rationale being - unlike main brakes & their pads, ebrake doesn't partially drag, just quickly completely locking up, even if you do it often like in eg. drifting. No drag, just "on"/"off" -> no extra heat > no extra requirements for "dusting"/"noise"/"modulation", so imho just about any pad should be usable.
I don't have dual caliper ebrake, but if i'd had, i probably would choose going by line of thoughts as above.

Did some digging and found that some Formula D drifters use EBC Yellowstuff.
Ordered some and hopefully they bite better than what i already have.

I have been using stocks pads, and they lock it up fine. Maybe you could use a longer handle for more leverage.

I noticed with the EBC Yellowstuf it does lock up better now, but its not quite there. I have the Chase Bays Hydro e brake with reservoir.

How are you bleeding you hydro e brake? I don't think mine is building up enough pressure in the line.

you did put the calipers on reverse? For example, the hydro caliper on the drivers side should originally have been a passenger side caliper from the factory. Otherwise your bleed screw will be to low and won't bleed right, which could cause it to feel bad.

Yeah I flipped them so the bleeder was on the top. It's my second time installing a dual caliper hydro, I previously had a E46 drift car.

Here's how its setup:
Chase Bay Hydro e brake --> Residual Pressure Valve 2 pound Wilwood (increase pressure) --> Shut Off Valve (to park) --> tee fitting --> to calipers
Lines are all 3an

Nice, I definitely didn't make that mistake (lol) when I first installed it. The shut off valve is a really good idea though! I use the PBM hand brake and it has a little screw you can twist in to hold the lever for a parking brake, but your setup is pretty slick.

I'd probably just keep stock parking brake with drums in parallel to hydro ebrake, daily driving usage wise. I wouldn't have much trust in hydro ebrake keeping pressure on parked for days/weeks car on incline. One thing are short pulls during drifting, other functioning for parking.
Of course, reminding that i never had hydro ebrake setup so those are just my guesses/thoughts.

you can't run both as the dual caliper adapter replaces the drum brake mounting plate. Also I always park with the car in gear and if I'm really paranoid I use a chok.

ML: hmm, indeed so. Rechecked bookmarked dual caliper adapter from bookmarks, "You do have to remove the parking brake shoes and backing plate.". My wrong.

Thanks, I had the valve on my last setup to. It works so nicely, the pressure from the valve never leaks and holds the brakes tight.

UPDATE!

Finally got my hydro working

Here's some steps for anyone that was lost like me

1. Make sure your Calipers are bleeder side up
2. Tighten all connections and verify no leaks
3. Bleed the brakes till your arm literally falls apart into pieces
