4 of these and 3 ton Daytona low profile Jack still cost less than half a QuickJack.

4 Jackpoint stands + jack = 2 x $319 +$148 = $786.
QuickJack = $1230.

Granted, you can pick up a HF jack for around $100 or even less, but you can also typically pick up a QuickJack for $1000. Don't know if Jackpoint stands sell for cheaper than on their site (never saw them anywhere else). So yeah, for an extra 25% ($730 vs $1000) I'd prefer something that is a one touch lift (and lifts higher than stands).

BTW, Safe Jack Rennstands are similar in concept to the Jackpoint stands, but at $125 a pop they're not much cheaper ($500 vs. $638).

Finally, for the Twins I don't really see the point in pinch weld lifting - lifting the front and then the back is super easy and gets your car up on four stands in just two steps (lift front, place stands; lift rear, place stands). Pinch weld lifting is needed when you don't have easily accessible and approved front and rear lifting points (like most other cars).

4 - 4 ton duralast 13”-20” lift - $100
Pittsburgh 3 ton low profile jack - $80
Jack pad $20
4 Jack stand pads $30-$50

Optional If lowered and or aero mods
4 low profile discount ramps - $100

$230-$250 if not lowered/aero

$330-$350 if lowered/aero.

I can fully jack front to 20” and then jack rear in one go each side using center jacking points. Really doesn’t take much work or time. Then i push/pull on my front strut bar to make sure it’s stable.

I have Floor jack and quickjack as well

depends on work i need to do, i use floor jack or quickjack
with quickjack, so much easier to do work for sure. i just wish it lifts little bit higher.
my car is lowered and quickjack fits with no problem.

which model do you have. I see they're coming out with a TL series with a 24.25 inch lift height. This may push me over the edge to get one.

Don't get your hopes up - they're saying it'll be 3" higher than the old models, but the max height in their current range is with two blocks, which would typically mean lowered height of around 6.5". Comparing the more applicable 3.5" lowered height with 2" blocks you would go from 18" to 21" max height (or 19" to 22" with 3" blocks and lowered height of 4.5"). Plus they're not advertising a 3500TL model, so the cheapest one (5000TL) will probably be around $1,500 or more. For that price I would seriously consider a portable two post lift.

I regular 5,000 model. mine is not EXT model since BRZ doesnt need longer
with rubber block there is 2~3inch gap between pinch weld and rubber block

I use it for BRZ, and other SUV vehicles. I lifted up my RDX and Lexus RX350 and 0 problems. owned it about 5 years so far

I occasionally lift my wife's Camry which weighs in at just under 3500 lbs so I'd need a 5000 as well. It'll be interesting to see what they come out with. At present I have a decent floor jack and a set of 4 Esco stands which are more than up the task of lifting and supporting everything I have. It's a minor pain to get all that out and I have to run the BRZ up onto some 1 bys to get the jack saddle under the BRZ's lift points.

The quickjack would shave some of those steps off and add some new ones. Whonoz, I'll have to sit down and do some napkin back cost benefit analyses.

I plan on going with a single point hoist. Amgo makes the one I plan on buying. Full lift and I can still drop a front subframe or rear sub. $2500. I need it because I have crack and a drain right where the one side a two post would need to be. Also with this Amgo I can more easily get in another car...but also keep the car on the hoist I am working on and open driverside door all the way.

That looks pretty cool, thanks for sharing! Keep in mind their 4-1/8" minimum height. If you're lowered you'd probably need full length ramps around the bottom of the lift which would be a bit of a pain.

The Amgo looks very nice. For me I think it's overkill. I couldn't use the full height, and I'm probably better off using something that lets me more easily roll under the car. Very cool though if I had a higher ceiling.
