This week's meet will be at The Habit Burger in Pleasanton, tomorrow at 7:30pm. Sorry about the late notice.. Please let me know if any of you have requests on where you'd like future meets to be held. We're always willing to try new places as long as the food and the parking are good!

It would be pretty cool to get one in vallejo at that central square area with restaurants and shops nearby!

For east bay, Pleasant Hill works better plus there’s a giant lot behind my place that isn’t private parking and I’ve yet to see anyone ever park there. Right next to the theater and restaurants

How many people are up in that area? I think we mainly stay in the Fremont-Walnut Creek area as the majority of people who attend these live in Fremont/Hayward/Alameda/San Ramon. If we get enough people who have interest in meeting on thursdays in the more northern part of the east bay i'm sure we'll have more meets there

Well, yeah, it’s right in the downtown area.... sushi place right on the corner, chipotle, 5 guys, jacks for the fine dining folks, Zackary’s pizza. All within 200 feet. The ONLY downside is that it’s all on the other side of the movie theater and you have to walk around the block for it.

And yes I know most people live more south. I lived in Benicia for hella long and it’s a pain driving down to Pleasanton just to stand around only to know you’re driving right back up etc. I only suggested it here since it’s 1) this side of the bridge 2) right next to plenty of food options 3) a massive lot with never anyone there. I also suggested it more for the Vallejo/ AC/ Fairfield people as a way to mingle with theeast bay people as a semi middle ground.

We have gone north to Walnut Creek or Concord one or twice to make an effort. Main problem is it's going with traffic for many during the week.

But I can discuss with @MisterSheep but I feel like we could get a good turnout if we planned it enough in advance

I second that as i live in the walnut creek/pleasant hill area. I think it would be great to have one around here. That parking lot is always dead or there are plenty of other lots near that area too with resturants and coffee shops.
