Just test fitted the 18x8.5 w/GF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S 245/45ZR18, hit the front springs. Ended up with some Yokohama 235/40 R18.

Nice! Like the wheels... looking at something like this for myself too on my Raven FR-S. Is this hyper silver or titanium grey finish on these wheels?

So I've read thru all of these post and seen all the pics. I really came here just wanting some basic info and pics of these wheels but now i have even more questions and its leaving me wanting to do more to the car all in one shot.

I really love the looks of the 9.5 all around (mostly because of the concave). I've been scrolling thru posts trying to find out what kind of setup works best (I know its alot to do with personal preference) with out rubbing issues, handling, etc. Im at the point where I wanna order a set of Eibach Sportline Springs and install them at the same time.

My question is, what tires will work best (seeing alot of options in the thread) for looks with these wheels, and will i have to use spacers if i use the springs? Sorry to seem so n00b, I've never messed with wheels on a car and this is all kind of new.

I do love the support I find on this forum tho, and I'm glad I can be part of this awesome community.

8.5 all round?

Guys, sorry to rehash an old thread.

I have a question around tyre sizing on the 8.5.
Currently (as shown) I have 225/40/18 with a 1" drop from lowering springs.

Id like to eat up some more wheel arch and increase traction for future events.

I have read that 255 is possible for the rear tho might look 'stretched'

Have to be honest and note that offsets confuse me a tad.

Looking for a set up that takes away some more wheel arch but adds value non the less.

Thoughts or advice?
*rims are 8.5 all round*

What's going on guys. I'm currently thinking of doing an 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with +45 offset with MPSS 235/40 Fr and 265/35 Rr. Was wondering since a lot of people have commented that the width of PSS runs thicker than most others if 265 is even necessary. Don't want them to look stretched but don't want to run into problems rubbing. Also my BRZ is still on stock suspension I'm thinking of doing MCA Red Series Coilovers in the future though. Thanks for the advice.

Exclamation Raijin 18x8.5/18x9.5, 235/40, 265/35 Hankooks

As the title notes im going with Raijins 18" Gunmetal finish, staggered, I need to know if the 265/35's and the 235/40's (Hankook v12's) are going to work with my Eibach Proline Spring kit or would you have to install coilovers to run this set up?....... Thanks Guys, also a speedy response would be appreciated considering I order them haha

225 up front is already really close to strut

265 rear should be okay

But not recomending go for wider tire than 255/225 it would be too heavy for our power

Hi guys, just a quick question. Do you know if Enkei Raijin in 18x9.5 +45 with 245/35 tyres at all four corners clear BBKs? Specifically Willwoods/RR Racing or otherwise? Thanks

Anyone with the 18x9.5 +45 and 265/35R18 tires and NOT rubbing nor needing to shave down the rear bumper tab? What tire make/model?
