Couple incidents which made me crack up...

1. "Is that the new Camry??" 2 guys in an old Suzuki at a traffic light

2. 60+ old lady in a Buick: "what kind of car is that? I love the sound it makes when you take off!"
*makes an airplane taking off motion with her hand*

I guess Toyota badging throws people off..

I was installing my new subwoofer yesterday and I had a guy in my neighborhood who was watching his kids rid bikes come up and tell me
"Thats a sweet car, you know its top of the line because all the Russians drive it, doesn't get any better than that."
Then he asked how much I was selling it for.....

When I first got the car (it was rare back then) and pulled into a gas station. Some old guy (maybe Tcoat, or Humfrz) thought it was a new Ferrari.

Just a few weeks ago, I was waiting for my bank to open. It was nice outside so I had the windows down. Some older fellow in a beat up Chrysler van kept looking my direction. He eventually yells out at me. "Hey man, that's a nice car, I bet it's fast." I said thanks, but it isn't as fast as it looks. He then proceeds to tell me he bets my car can take on a GT-R. (We have them all over here as the Nissan plant leases them to their employees) I laughed and said not without dumping some serious cash into this car would it even keep up with a GT-R. He then asked me if he could buy it with his tax return, I laughed and promptly rolled up my windows to end the conversation.
