Hey DSOmegaX,

Do you remember off the top of your head or where I might find the torque specs for the tS rear subframe bolts? I'm finally getting around to installing them with the collars.

Thanks!

We torqued them to around 107lb-ft, if I remember correctly. I don't recall if that is the stock spec, but I believe whiteline specified it.

Now for the question everyone wants to know...

How will you fit the new series yellow spoiler on the trunk too?

You don't. You smash it with a hammer, Office Space style, throw it in the trash, and the nuke the zip code in which said trash can is located, because it's disgusting.

It's totally worth it just for that car! I checked it out at Wicked Big Meet this past weekend. Lust!

Where the car use to have minor shudders here and there when cornering hard, now it turns in one smooth sweeping motion. The only thing I could see as a downside to some people is the car feels perfectly balanced as opposed to some slight oversteer. To me, it feels incredible and it now has me staring at my WRX just going shit I need to upgrade the suspension on this thing.

Would you mind a simple run down of the installation for the draw stiffeners?Any tips or tricks? I just picked them up, and looked over the install instructions (thankfully there are some photos), but would you mind kind of going over the process? At least to the best of your recollection? Thanks!

The most important part that I remembered was adjusting the length of each one to 370mm before installing it. I believe it's shipped out to you set at 366. Otherwise, the install was straightforward. Torque to spec at the locations specified.

Awesome build man.

Know you did the engine and transmission mounts along with some other things but would those two things still be liveable for a daily driver in traffic occasionally etc?

Would you say they made a Noticeable difference in responsiveness?

To me, it was one of the most noticeable changes in the car. Being RWD, there's just a lot of drivetrain loss from crank to wheel. I can't say for certainty how much the engine and transmission mount alone contributed to the benefits since I did all the mounts at the same time, but the throttle response is much more immediate now. Feels like an on/off switch really. I've done engine and transmission mounts in past cars and can say it always makes a difference.

NVH is dependent upon which mounts you're using. STI uses harder durometer rubber, not polyurethane. Thus, its still comfortable. It made a difference in overall stiffness, but nothing that you can't live wit; honestly, it's still more comfortable than a stock WRX STi IMO. Going up to polyurethane would be a different story though.
