I'm looking at the requirements for a trackday at Chuckwalla, here,

I know you can add a tow hook (How?), but do we have usable tow points front and/or rear?

Also, what helmet would you recommend? This is what's required:

yes. 1 in front, and 2 in the rear. the tow hook is in the trunk next to the spare, and must be screwed in.

you are lucky you just use a moto helmet, most places require a car helmet, i have like 10 moto helmets but no car helmets. the towpoint in front is where most people mount the off center license plates

Well, if most places require an auto helmet I may as well get that, I was just wondering that too. They also do moto racing there, so maybe that's why that's even mentioned, they may require an auto helmet for a car.

summit racing, see Zamp, about $100. will get you a 2015 rated helmet. Not recommended for racing but great for track days. Get your own, rentals are the pits, also they usually charge 20-25 per event. Do four and your ahead.

I like my cheap Zamp, just fine for HPDE, AutoX and the occasional indoor Karting session. Open face is more comfy, I pull the closed face off almost instantly but like I said, closed face is useful for the occasional kart session.

Look for the squares in the rear bumper and the circle in the front right side of the bumper, as mentioned tow hook in the trunk screws in as needed, putting it on before you hit the track may save you from having to slop around the mud to install it if you go off.

I just got a Snell M rated motorcycle helmet for $150 because to me it was worth it to be able to try it on at a local store. It's a Sedici Strada Primo.

I just tried it on in the car, I'm 6'4", so it works, but it's kinda hitting things. How do I deal with the fact that the back of the helmet now pushes my head forward on the headrest and also hits the part of the roof that curves down? (There's a pocket for your head if that makes sense)

Pull the head rest out and flip it around and stick it in "backwards"

This is unnecessary and will eliminate your head and neck support (especially in the case of a crash). You can sit comfortably with the headrest in the proper configuration.

Trust me, you'll get used to it and it will become a non issue
