I do not even have that rattle. I have had no issues at all. I may get a little chirping (I think anyways, I have not been able to tell really) but if that, the only issue I can come around to find. 2nd Gear is a little rough going into when you first start driving for the day or after long sits but that is nothing major. If you are anticipating issues that other people had making you want to trade it in, then that is a mistake. If you are trading it in because you are unhappy with the car. Then by all means trade it in. There are people that did not like this car after driving it x amount of miles.

When I went in for my first oil change the service manager said my car has 63 TSBs... I laughed and said don't implement any of them since my car seems to be working fine. Within the 3 year warranty I plan have them done, which "should" give Subaru time to work on fine tuning the TSBs so they work the first time they are implemented on my car. You can't live in fear, you need to enjoy the ride...unless your car isn't drivable. Then trade it in.

Update: my bro reminded me it was 36 not 63 so I'm the stupid dyslexic. Nothing against dyslexics, I'm the stupid one.

63 TSB's? I doubt it. Even if there were that many, it doesn't mean they all apply to your car. Your service manager sounds as stupid as many of the sales staff do.

that is a big YES! I will be trading this car in..............when the BRZ STI is released of course.

And yeah, what issues are you having? just like what @Enraged21 says, if there is an issue then it is an opportunity to upgrade it.

There was condensation issues with tail lights so I bought the spyder LED smoked tail lights. The chirping noise gets annoying at times but it gives the car character. All of the issues does not remove the overall function of the car which is balance chassis and fun in the bends.

Just wait for the STI version and hang on to this one for now is my suggestion but your call.

There's many of us happy silent owners without any major issues so you don't hear about it as much as you do the ones with problems (only GPS antenna TSB here), but if you're that worried about stuff then go ahead and trade it in, but every car is built out of thousands of parts that can have problems and no matter what you get, you can have the odds go against you and run into problems.

My suggestion is buy and drive the car you love and quit worrying about things that are out of your control.

Yea there really aren't any actual issues with these. And like said before you're only hearing about the ones that had issues. But there guys like myself that haven't had any issues, not to mention all of the people that aren't on the forum.

Maybe all of us that don't have any problems should start bitching that we don't have anything wrong.

I see no point in trading it in.

The way I see it, if one thing fails, it's an opportunity to upgrade it.
this is all well and good, however, you DON'T want "issues" showing up
AFTER the warranty is up gets expensive real fast! we may skate thru on the driveline, because we got 5 years.,or maybe 3 if you are a mileage hog...just sayin'

these guys play "cute" (service managers) and pretend they don't know of any issues with the car!..trust me,they are NOT going to admit to anything,if they don't have to.

Service manager told my friend they need a Automatic transmission fluid change on their Civic Si (which is only manufactured in manual)

Screw dealers.

I'm driving around a year with condensation in my lights because I don't trust them lol

Even with those that have had issues, I dont recall any that left someone stranded. The car isnt going to let you down.
