Tried the Daytona Gr1 race with the 787B. Stupid hard. Best I could do was 4th. This is where starting last really sucks. I'm posting faster lap times than the AI too. Guess I'll buy that new Gr1 Toyota before resorting to buying a Gr1 VGT, which are usually the top 5 cars.

All that and I just needed the Cappuccino instead of the Honda Beat to win the Kei Cups lol... on to VGT now.

Agreed. I'm not sure how to win this one yet. Tried with the R92CP, the 787B (stock and turboed) and then the Peugeot. I was surprised that the Peugeot got the worst fuel efficiency. Oddly enough the race winner was usually 787B (for the attempts I made).

I'm glad that they finally gave us races for the Group C cars, but am also annoyed that we can't use them in stock condition to win anything.

I too will exhaust all "real" car options to win before any VGTs.

Oddly enough, there was a video about the GR010. Actually a couple. They both said it's only good for straights and understeer a lot on corners.

So yeah, not gonna waste 3 million on it. I might try thr Porsche 962C and see how well it does. If that doesn't work, I'll just buy one of those stupid VGT Gr1 cars.

Daytona Gr1, I took 1st with GR010. I think, I took RM tires and pit once (I think). Circuit de Sainte-Croix, it's annoying... but I got 2nd place, I've pit in 3 times, cuz you can pit in & out quickly. Hardest one been the Suzuka. I can't get near the podium.

I wish there was a way to specify using the hybrid assist in only higher gears.

I also hate how ungodly good the AI is at accelerating hard out of slow turns, regardless of the grip situation. That applies to everything, not just Gr1 races.

I wanna know how weight doesn't apply on pushing each other. I'm not talking about me jack-knifing an AI. Both has same tires, but I weight shit tons more, but SOMEHOW lightweight AI car can brush me off course like my car is made out of cardboard box lol

More serious I play, more disappointed I get with GT's physics and dumb AI.

Or here is another one (6:44) it really doesn't take much sidewards force at all to ruin your day.

Haha I'm not talking about bump from the side rear. LITERALLY side by side, lightweight AI (iirc Porsche) is pushing my heavy-ass RCF or M6 to the side.
