OFT cable busted

Does anyone know where I could acquire a new V1 OFT cable? Any little movement of the cable will cause the screen to scramble and will shut off my OFT. I won't be able to load new tunes or data log because the cable seems very sensitive to any movement.

I know I should ask Shiv but since they are real busy these days I will not get an immediate answer. I'd thought I would see if anyone could help me out here.

alien tech sells them for $25. Contact anywhere that sells the OFT. Ive had quotes from 15-25 shipped. Your best bet would be to contact shiv he would probably have the best deal.

Thanks for the info, Open Flash team got back to me after I sent them an email, they are going to give me a replacement. Now that you mention it could be my OBD port, how could I check to see if that is the problem?

For improving the connection, I had good luck taking a fine pair of needle-nose pliers, grabbing each pin about half-way down, and gently twisting each pin a little bit. You need to keep the pins straight up-and-down, and I only need about an eighth turn twist in each, but this effectively makes the pins a bit thicker and gives each pin a bit of pin edge to contact the pair-of-leaves socket in the car's connector.

Gently
