Correct, the good news is it does it out of the box, doesn't require fiddling with like the manual.

I do find it odd the manual doesn't do this by default by the way.

Main purpose for the gear indicator in the manual is to achieve the best fuel economy. It's actually a shift indicator as well that tells you to shift up as soon as it hits 2000RPM. I guess the theory is you're manually changing gears so you should subconsciously know what gear you're in rather than an auto where it could be in any gear at any given time.

I know it is sort of difficult to tell from the photo, but the State Inspection Sticker is on crooked and it is driving me crazy! I have to look at this for two years! My OCD is killing me, every time I look I want it to be lined up. It's going to look even worst when I get registration sticker on. It will be right and make the Inspection Sticker stand out more. I wished whoever put this on would have done it right and not just slap the sticker on there any which way.

I'll trade you the inspection sticker requirement if we could get rid of the front plate here in Ohio

Move to MI. No inspections, no front plate.

But then you are stuck driving on our awesome roads.

I visit there a few times a year (wife's family is in St. Joe, SW corner), and I can confirm that MI roads are f'in Terrible.

One of these days, one of the knuckleheads in Columbus will get the language put into a budget bill or something and we'll be free and clear.

After 3 months of ownership, the only thing I really dislike about my car is the seat belt position. You can't adjust it and sits very high, touching a bit of my neck.
