It sounds like your speedometer is reading high, not low? Meaning it says 60kph and but you are really going 55kph? If that's the case, don't worry about it. It legally (I would guess everywhere has the same rule) needs to be calibrated to read at least the speed you are going and no slower. In the US I think it can legally read up to 6% higher. Depending on how fast you were going it's probably normal. |

So bit of an update here... I finally got the car on jack stands and the first thing I noticed was the top slide pin bolt was gone with the bottom one just hanging on by a thread !
After replacing and properly torquing down the bolts the car feels like new haha. No more knocking making me think a shock is blown. No more oscillating when coming to a stop etc etc. Anyway I am happy and glad nothing serious happened from driving around with loose brake caliper
