The wind was pretty brutal today but low 60s. It was warm enough to get some heat in tires.
Some leaves, twigs and pine needles in the road but that beats tourist anyday. |

Got my first motorbike few months back in early September... having lot of enjoyment learning to ride with it.
Decided on the KLX 300R as opposed to the 300 Dual sport as zero plans for riding on-road, it's noticably lighter, and has better suspension, brakes, and ground clearance. Will be installing lighting and street legal kit on it and maybe get it registered in the future but will never really street ride it. Mainly just want to be able to explore around with it in the desert, not going to be doing any crazy stuff with it... just relaxed exploring. Really like the Barker's full exhaust system + fuel controller with tune - much smoother control down low right off idle, not crazy lean running/glowing header pipe anymore, and smoother, deeper tone (with silencer/spark arrester insert) without being obnoxiously loud.... also shaved off a couple pounds.

No, two radiators in split style setup, I just added SRC radiator guards/protection to it which has a fan mounting setup on righthand side - will probably add fan to it later. Also still need to add in the water temp sensor (inline with hose type - so need to drain & cut line to insert it) for the Trail Tech Striker dash.

Ordered a fairing set to replace the stockers so I can vinyl wrap them to my heart's content.

Big fan of the old school orange/black repsol design but I was thinking a solid color
