One last event of the season at CMP. New parts for the winter build have started to arrive.
These cams are made by Jaydee at Quantum Performance in Australia specifically for Rotrex superchargers and have less valve overlap than normal aftermarket cams. Made to order and only took about 3 months to get to me! Really looking forward to the lite engine build starting soon. Also Acquired my CD009 for the new trans setup. Its been pretty slow with the car stuff this past month or so but Its about to get busy in November. Pulling the engine to go to the engine builder, full cage going in, Fortune Auto's going to be rebuilt with custom valving, and the bigger Supercharger going on. Really hoping to be competitive at the Hill climb series next year, with my ultimate goal of going to Pikes Peak!

Alot going on right now. Coilovers have been sent back to Fortune auto for a revalve done by professional awesome. Ordered a Haltech PD16 and redoing the entire chassis harness again. Taking the motor to the machine shop later this week for refresh and to put my new cams in. Also trying to sell my wheels so I can buy some 17x10s and potentially run some flares, IDK on all that yet though.
Roll cage going in in two weeks how much weight can I pull out before that? Old half cage:

I heard you guys wanna save some weight? well get a fucking hole saw kit, a cutoff wheel, grinder, and have no self control! Cage goes in next week so really trying to get everything out I want out before then. I'll probably regret this but I want as much weight out of the top and front as possible. Going to panel bond in some aluminum for the trunk area, and use vinyl circles to cover the holes as well as I can before paint.

Yes! some good inspiration. Next step is to throw some salt on and let it rust away for some dynamic weight savings.

Some pics of the cage and getting everything prepped and cleaned for paint. Its taking a while due to the weather being so cold and rainy! But once done I can move on to wiring.
Also I pulled off a small miracle and got Joel Marsh to build me a carbon roof that should be here before February.

Getting closer. Engine should be ready for pick up next week. Engine builder insisted on using a cylinder girdle. I sent it to him for his skills and knowledge so we did that. 9.5 CP, Manley rods, new valves/springs, and cams.
Also getting close to finishing the new chassis harness.

you and me both, it was about 2400 last year, so hoping worst case scenario I off set the weight of the full cage. Sub 2k would be ultimate goal and would take a lot of money.
