Ya they all had a fob button to unlock the door but I meant touch to unlock.

The FRS did not have keyless entry (NOT pushing the button on the fob). The FRS special editions that had keyless did have the button. The early BRZ higher trim did have keyless and they had the button. The base 86 does not have keyless entry so still did not have the button. The later 86s in the higher trim did and they had the button. The button needs the keyless entry/pushbutton start fob to always be transmitting to operate. 2014 BRZ manual shows the button.

Just so it doesn't happen again, they do make a button "cover" for the trunk / valet lock out.
