a while back i made flag poles for the truck because the attachment points were crying out for something to be done with.

mounting an american flag on a 'import' truck is a little controversial, and i also have no desperate need for voicing political opinions that way either.

so i had some fun flags made instead.

amazon's got you covered

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07YD3VT...v_ov_lig_dp_it

redbubble also has it if you want as well.
https://www.redbubble.com/i/sticker/...10742922.EJUG5

the next project i need to think over this winter is to make a flagpole for the car. must mount centered, to the 2 rear tow points, and a 3rd triangulated point to eliminate horizontal loading of the tow points...

While the BRZ is getting the fuel pump recall fixed, I've been loaned a Subaru Outback for the mean time. The thing is fully loaded, very nice interior and absolutely comfortable. There's only one thing that even gave me a little headache, was the HUGE info-entertainment screen. It's absurd. I don't know how people can drive and make selections on the screen, I don't get it.
Other than that, it drives like any other Subaru SUV/Crossover I've driven before.

My wife's car is a fully loaded Outback. It is what we drive as the family car so I spend loads of time behind the wheel. Doesn't take long for you get used to the big screen and then you don't even notice it anymore.

I could see that happening, this morning it got a little bit easier. But you know how they say, first impressions are last impressions. I could totally see how people can spend too much time with their eyes on the screen, and if it wasn't for the driver-aids, accidents can happen. I'm sure that if this was my daily, I could get used to it. It just isn't a trim I would consider getting after a first impression.
