Sorry guys, I couldn't end up making it last night.

However, I did take an awesome route to work today. Headed up north to Foster City from Saratoga - swung up Highway 9, hit Skyline, the works. What a glorious way to start the morning.

yeah if I lived in the Saratoga area I would totally take that route up every day rather than sit through 101 traffic. Not sure but it might have been *slightly* faster for you to take Skyline all the way up to 92 and then down 92 to Foster City. Start early enough, you could even stop for breakfast at Alice's.

I'll have to try that next time if I get a chance, but seriously it took me less time to drive through the twisties (comfortable pace in all honesty) than to sit through the horrible stop and go morning traffic. Not to mention the drive was a far more therapeutic and engaging way to start your morning.

I love the Bay Area

For sure, I think even taking 280 would be far better than 101. Either way avoid 101 as much as possible.

Funny thing is, coming down from the city, I almost always take 101 - little traffic (IMO) as opposed to the 280. Looks like it's totally different when headed northbound.

@mkivsoopra, caravan to work lol

Really? What time do you leave in the morning? I always avoid 101 like the plague, as 280 used to be better for traffic when I started commuting. Maybe now that's changed?

Dude, 101 is horrible unless you leave later haha

I hop on the 101 off Cesar Chavez, and I can get to Foster City/San Mateo in as little as 20 minutes (if not less). I get on the highway between 8:45-9, obviously the later you get on, the less traffic there is.
