TRD circuit brake kit

Hello,

I currently have PP Brembo.

Does anyone use this from TRD: MS220-18002? (Not TRD BBK)
(Front slotted disc, Front+Rear pads).

How do you think it would compare to these from STI: https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/subarubrz_zc/brake/ (Not STI brake kit)
(Front+Rear drilled disc, Front+Rear pads)?

Thank you,
Andrei

These look like uprated brake disc and pads.

You already have a better package. It depends what you want to do with the car.

Better fluids and brake pads could be your next move.

PS: Am fost la cluj o data.

Both sti and trd are upgrades for pp brembo calipers I think. Am I wrong?

The Brembo are like a factory BBK. You already have larger rotors and better pads than stock, maybe equal or slightly better than the STI/TRD.

Yes, but I am referring at these, for example:
https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/subarubr.../ST262964S020/ upgraded pad for brembo pp
https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/subarubr.../ST26390ST000/ upgraded disc for brembo pp

They seem to be an upgrade for PP Brembo, keeping the PP Brembo caliper

Just calculated the price.... Discs f+r 1500 eur, pads f+r 500 eur. Before taxes and shipping

Also, does anyone if the 2017+ gt86 still needs master cylinder brace? Or was the firewall/mount reinforced?

First off, stated on the page with the discs:
Quote:
* The rotor cannot be installed on the GT model as it is fitted with Brembo calipers.
* Please confirm before purchase that the car to be fitted with the rotor has 16 inch discs in the front / 15 inch ventilated discs in the rear.
Those pads do look like an upgrade for the Brembos. Maybe someone here has tried them out and can reply as to how they do.

I could only find one mention of them on the forum.

I only have the fronts. While they grip great, damn can they get squeaky. I'm half tempted to put oem pads back in because it's quite annoying.

Sorry, I put the wrong disc link. This is the correct link: https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/subarubr.../ST26390ST000/
