Its all a definition of professional. My opinion of professional is quality work, and/or someone who gets paid to do something.

Exhaust was made by a professional exhaust shop (although the crooked look of the tips turned out worse than wanted)

PERRIN parts are better than local-sketchy-auto parts by far, and they were installed by a local tuning crew and myself at one of the member's shops. Not to mention i'd trust Jeff Perrin's ECU tuning to the ends of the earth.

Lots of parts installed at the dealer by techs, because i worked in sales when i first bought the car, and had free and easy access to that. I think anyone in their right mind would take free help from a dealer professional who is also a friend than pay a shop of unknown quality to possibly royally screw it all up.

My last fact.. is that I didn't write the craigslist ad, so they may have a slightly different definition of the word professional than you or I do. Hence the "Craigslist be like... rice a roni" stuff.

I took excellent care of the car (never replaced the front bumper because hell, i live in utah, and it would just get scraped up again), always had it professionally serviced (i consider the dealer to be a professional when it comes to servicing) and made sure it was in great working order while i owned it, and before selling it off to the new life ahead of it. I don't really mind that ad being so cheesy, honestly, and hopefully they got a lot of calls off of it lol. Cheesy sells cars, its a sad fact. Go to a dealership and pretend to buy a car.. you are almost guaranteed to find some clown cheesy dudes trying to tell you that you'll be ripping around town burning rubber in your new prius.. hence why i quit car sales, cheesy-ness isn't my style.

Rice is. And beans. Apparently.

Does that help your gripe?

Also, to whomever mentioned it on this thread, the reason that the ad on this site didn't get much attention is because MOST people on this forum already OWN ONE.

Supercharged. Just so theres more 's' words in there. But yeah, for anyone doing quad exhaust out there, straight tips win, angled out looks dumb. Still sounded mean as hell, though.

I would love to turn an FR-S into a full rally style, but there's not too much besides my little canyon up the road to warrant it, so there wasn't enough motivation to put the right suspension on it, different rims, etc.. I was planning on taking it to the cleaners.. or at least clean look.. next summer. I tried flashy crazyness with this.. its just not my style.
Totally makes sense, actually. I'd like to turn mine rally style too, but I like cornering too much.

Don't take to heart what any of these guys said. Half the people on this forum are ignorant to begin with.

Thats pretty much why i never got to full rally, haha. I have some real nice corners on my daily drive, and I looooved taking them as fast as possible. Plus I decided if I am going to make a full on rally style car, I might as well go with an old bug eye or something AWD, so I can still utilize it in the winter. Someday in the future that will happen..

Haha that would be so epic.. If I could have my ideal garage, there would definitely have to be at least 3 different types of 86 mixed in there.. Minimum. one turbo Sleeper, one full rally, and the other straight up V8 drag car like that brz on YouTube.

Professionally just means that someone got paid to do the labor.

I'd rather some of car owners had paid someone to install parts than some of the hack-jobs I've seen floating around out there.
