Engine compartment whine
Here is a strange one. About a week ago noticed a intermittent whine coming from the engine compartment when the engine is running. Frequency around 700hz does not change with RPM or anything. Started happening more often. Today noticed it would start just after start up and continue for a second or so after shutdown. Did some in depth searching today and found it is the recirculating valve from my AVO turbo. I called AVO, had to leave a message. What are the chances of them calling back?

Completely suprized. Received a call today. Apparently a new company is handling the sales. They were extremely helpful. Unfortunately only a 1 year warranty on the part. Have 1 year 3 months on it. They offered to give a large discount on the part. I asked to upgrade to the aluminum one and they agreed with a large discount.
