Today is the first day of no work. Already have an interview lined up with MLB (ironic because of the lockout that began last night lol).

Hey, that sounds cool. You still plan on taking some time off right?

Yeah, I can very reasonably take about 2 months off (much longer if needed is fine, but not my preference).

I actually wasn't planning to start interviewing yet, but they finally got back to me yesterday after I applied months ago so I figure I'll do the recruiter chat and if it's an interesting role, ask if they mind waiting a month for the technical interviews.

Joked about moving from a Sustainment Brigade to a Ranger Battalion as a strength coach today. Boy did I get schooled with how much I thought I knew and how much I actually know. O_o

Betcha it will start the car -

Iffen that don't work, Bubba says to put two of these in it (hooked in series).
I put the entire car out on a stump and it worked! Actually, after 3 days on my 15a charger the battery decided to work a little more. Took it in and passed smog. Now to bed for winter.

Tomorrow I get to wash Portland and San Jose off the twin and put it to bed for winter too.

See, the sunshine/stump did work (with maybe a little help from the charger - ).

So, the car passed smog in Caldwell, Idaho. Most likely because them good ol boys couldn't figure out where the engine was - and so they just passed it -

So, you put all your fun cars to bed for the winter. What are you going to drive - that ugly truck!

What you need is a fun winter vehicle -

Check it out - this is YOU in Idaho -

Well, I went to a new place this time and a gal did the check. She told me to pop the hood as she walked to the front of the car. I said "no hood up there" . I got a chuckle.
