Installed Kenwood DDX-9019SM multimedia

Changed stock unit as it didn't really do well with my active 3 way system. Whole system was calibrated using Audison's bit drive auto automatic calibration system connected to my audison DSP amplifier powering the system. Installer also tuned the wide scene in front and now it sounds absolutely amazing.

Where did you get the black dash piece that fits the head unit with no gaps? The stock dash piece has a trapezoidal shape and there are big gaps when you install a standard DD head unit. Part number? Thanks.

It's custom made. As you may know scoche makes frame for these dash pieces, miraculously it turned out that it suites US models but not EU! EU model multimedia units curves are of a little different shape, so scoche frame didn't fit exactly. So it was put in the stock dash piece and then a shop worked on it to make it as one, then painted and now it's one piece

That was the idea. It took some time and few tries till the shop did everything right including painting. Here is the final product which indeed looks OEM
