I love how the Japanese call this thing the "Big Minor Change."
@ichitaka05

My Japanese is not perfect so did I hear him correctly that he basically said the difference between the R/S and the GT (PP) models is: Brake feel/power, and how it handles body roll and bumps? I think he also said the most noticeable difference between the old models and the new ones to him is the suspension changes.

Funny he's actually wearing a full racing suit while driving on the street. A bit "look at me". A helmet would have been more usefull.

I guess you never seen Hot Version or Best Motoring. He's driving in a Gunsai street course.

So as it turns out the dealer did not have it in the yard. I was able to get it for a bit under invoice and a couple hundred $$ cut on some fees for a pretty good OTD. Now I've got an CWP limited MT coming in by the 12th.

I was only refering the fact that it make no sense to put a racing suit without an helmet. Whether on a race track or street or closed course, you have like 10X more chance to have an head injury without an helmet, than suffering a car fire, especially a stock brand new car. If you feel the need to wear a nomex suit, then you definetly need an helmet.
Sorry for the tread jack

Just received a phone call from my sales rep, he told me the car is on the train from Richmond, CA. He's going to keep an eye out for the next status update for the railhead. He said it'll take about a day thereafter to arrive at the dealership. He's guessing it's going to be arriving as early as 9/1 or 9/2. So he's going to overnight all the accessories once the status changes. We are almost there to the finish line, finally!

I bet you if you called your dealer for an update on yours they will probably tell you it'll be here next week. Your car was probably even on the same ship as mine. It wouldn't surprise me if yours came earlier since you don't have to wait for shipping out of state and such.

Congrats! Make sure they don't wash the car, or drill a front plate into the bumper!!!

I got two dealers fighting for my business, but one of them called me today that the one I want would arrive on 9/12

we will see they're trying to push me to buy packages I don't want and I specifically ask for a limited without anything. I don't need my foot wells to,light up red, a home link on my rear view mirror, chrome fin carbon gas caps garage opener etc.

I just want a car for the joy of driving the amenities are more to keep the GF happy.

I agree, unless I'm getting a package for free, I don't want it.
