yes i could do it myself if i took the time, but i haven't found any key cases on ebay that look like the one in the video.

To me its spend a little bit more and not have any worries, just like what retrosmiths saying.

but being in australia, im going to have to attempt this myself.
so if anyone can find a link for a good looking toyota key fob like in the video please hit me up.
I understand people would but I bet you didn't know you could diy without too much knowledge which was all the info I was trying to get out

I also understand your point what you aren't hearing is they wouldn't even allow a diy to be posted for those that may want it. I tried posting it without mentioning their stuff and it still got deleted. So how would people know if it isn't even allowed to be posted?
I said my piece.

no i didnt know how to do it, and thanks to this forum other people along with me can make the decision of either doing it themselves or getting someone else to do it for them.
i for one will have to do it myself, so thankyou.

i did come across that leather case but wasnt really a fan of the design.
the second one i kinda like, thanks.

ive just got one question.
if the buttons on the fob dont line up with the module buttons.
can you just install the module side ways so that to correct fob buttons are pressing the correct action (assuming the buttons of the fob cant come out and be re arranged.
the lock/unlock in the carbon link looks like that cant be arranged differently to suit the original key which has the lock/unlock on the north and south side.

exactly what the goal was. For the info to at least be put out there.

yu shouldn't have any issues with the transponder not fitting in. These cases are full replacements.

I may be a bit ignorant to exactly what it is you do thats soo different but at least you confirmed that you did lie and try to not associate yourself with a business you run while promoting and reviewing the product like a consumer lol

business school 101 mislead your consumer

No you need the buttons from a key with them. It's just a case.

Could I buy a generic fob from eBay and program the buttons myself, and use them for the flip key? Or do I need that done from a dealer.

I haven't seen any DIY programming for this fob you have to get it done by a dealer.
