Fog light condensation

I got condensation on the inside of my passenger side fog light, just as my warranty was up. Any suggestions? Do I need to re-seal the rubber with a heat gun?

Oh, if the lens isn't cracked I'd suggest you take it apart and reseal it with a silicone sealant.

would you consider upgrading? or just looking to repair the existing. because honestly, i think i get more satisfaction out of my Baja Designs Squadron Sport amber fogs with rally innovations bracket, than i do over some other major mods on my vehicle. i know it sounds stupid, but i dont utilize the other mods every day, yet the amber fogs are something that every minute i am appreciating, i have them set so they are on with my day time running lights. My favorite time of day to drive is dust, when they are bright as all hell, but not dark enough that i need to turn them off and swap to headlights. they distinguish my car from all other frs/brz in my area, and everyone knows its me from a mile away. i cant explain how bright they are, i cant use them at night as weird as that sounds, because they are 3x brighter than my HID low and high beams (which are phenomenal too). it sounds stupid, but the fogs are honestly one of my favorite mods on my car, among performance parts like coils, lca, catbacks, enkeis, tires etc.

Before you mess with it at all, I'd recommend contacting your local Subaru dealer. Lots of manufacturers are extending warranties and maintenance plans due to COVID-19. More than likely, depending on your relationship with them, you should be able to get it covered.

hmmm same for toyota dealers? I considered getting aftermarket bulbs but not the whole housing. I dunno, just a difference in taste.

Yep, I agree with some of those aftermarket lights. Some of them blind me to the point that the after effect is like the old flash bulb going off in my face, except the effect lasts longer -

So I had an extended warranty that I forgot I bought but the dealer said they would not fix it unless the fog light completely stops working. Kinda disappointed but I guess I need to get silicone sealant and a hair dryer.

What you need to do is find another dealer
