I always remove any dealer decals or license plate frames or stickers or anything like that for this exact reason. I already bought the car from them, I don't need to be free advertising for the dealership as well.

I don't leave the dealer lot with the stickers. It's part of my negotiation. I ask if there are dealer stickers on the car. If the answer is yes I tell them that my charge for advertising is $0.02 per mile. I drive 20,000 miles a year and charge for the first 100,000 miles/5 years up front. They can either remove the sticker, write me a check for $4,000 or take $4,000 additional dollars off the already negotiated price of the car.

Reaction is always the same. "We can remove the sticker no problem".

Me too. Once I took my new car in for free service. I had taken the paper advertising plates and license frames off (no plate from DMV yet). When I picked up my car they had put another set on. I was pissed and was about to go in and make them take them off, then I realized, I may need to come back here some day, best not make enemies, and just went home and threw out the second set.

Yep, I did that once. Got up at O dark thirty, drove out into the middle of nowhere, slipped down into a dark, mostly sunken, 55 gal drum, surrounded by water, freezing my ass off - just to blast some poor stray duck out of the sky.

I'm just trying to get past the idea that somewhere there's a locale called "The Bathrooms." Sounds lovely.

The Baths is the correct translation because of springs, but if you have ever been there, the bathroom is more appropriate.

This is wonderful. Will definitely use it if I ever buy a car from a dealership again.
The dealership I bought my Toyo-Used-Certified '13 FR-S from was five hours from my home, and they totally SHAFTED me on part of the deal we had agreed on over the phone prior to me driving down there. Having their name on the back of my car frosts me every time I see it, but never got around to taking it off. Dental floss? Heat? Tips? That thing that says "Holman" HAS to go.

Duck was my favorite type of hunting. Once you got to your blind you could sip your thermos of Bailys coffee, smoke your cigar, wait for the sun to come up, call in some birds. You didn't have to worry about scent or anything. Very fun challenge reading the birds each morning. Then later, nothing like a couple teal and a pintail wrapped in bacon roasting on the webber.

I'm hopeful I can do it a time or two again in retirement. My Bennelli Super Black Eagle (in camo of course) is ready to go.

I guess they've got plenty of torque, but not enough to pull a load like that more than a mile or two.

Maybe he pulls his generator?
