I run the Ace A350 which is catless. The stock FP obviously retains the stock cat. No pops or weirdness. Sounds very racecar

I can attest to this claim. The ACE headers give it a very good sound

It's unfortunate that I can purchase two Tomei headers and still have $400 left over for the price of an Ace

Dont worry too much about what brand header you get. 80% of the gains are coming just from the fact that you ditched the cat in the header

Not surprised. Those are a totally different style of catback.

To be more specific, it happens with exhausts that utilize a muffler that uses baffles/chambers to reduce unwanted noise.

Most of the straight-through, perforated designs with fiberglass packing won't have as bad of a rattle issue as a stock design.

Here's a clip for reference. There are no cats on this setup, and even with the Fujitsubo front pipe you still have a weird rattle at higher RPMs (and it's more pronounced under load).

The same exhaust had no issues with either a stock cat or the Apexi header w/ cat.
