2022 Toyota 86 (Click-bait articles)

https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/n...way-more-power

Images look a lot more credible.
FA24... hope they keep it NA! TO each their own, but these do not look as good as the current gen.

No they don't, they just look better than the other random concepts.

Those are Supra's. Look closer.

Of course they're renderings, but at least the GR86 looks more credible with proportions and "design language", given other recent Toyota front fascias.

The front end is interesting, but the rest of the body is a Supra with a strange 86/BRZ front end (hud section) grafted on. At least how it looks to me.

Just look at the roof and rear quarter panel.

But they are meaningless since they did not come from Toyota. Also, as @Jordanwolf points out, they are really just Supras with a softened front end, not even very imaginative renderings at that.

They're just supras with the headlights teardropped and the front lower fascia of the facelifted 86's pasted on.

They aren't bad (not great) but I would rather have this if given a choice...

But if I really had my choice, they would resurrect on of the original FT86 concepts and product one of them.

nope, heard that before. In fact the only believable rumor I heard was of the "only 212 hp, but with chunky torque bump" variety
