I’ve owned the car 4 years and I’ve accidentally trained the battery twice. It’s a huge pain in the ass when you’re in a hurry.

Solution - removed the lightbulb.

I put another small dent in the rear fender of my FR-S, trying to lift the trash can over the car. That makes two dents for me and three for the granddaughters. My poor car is taking a beating just sitting in the garage -

Maybe I can get a quantity discount from a PDR guy?

I got my car back in 2012 (see date in my sig) and the clear coat on the headlights have died.

I finally have gotten around to restoring them!

Looks great. I know, I'll be too lazy to do these kind of cleaning, so instead I got clear film on it. 4yrs on it, it's still nice and clear.

I got Lamin-X, cost me $55~$65 (can't remember). It came with both headlights and foglights. Of course, you don't have to buy Lamin-X ver, but get 3M or other brand and custom cut to you need. Just for me, Lamin-X was pre-cut, so easier for me to install it.

Today I replaced my upstream O2 sensor. My car idled funky, acceleration was choppy, and I was getting shit mileage. Thanks to @steve99 for inspecting my OFT logs and confirming that the O2 sensor was the issue.

Nice and accessible without having to lift up the car

Old sensor vs new. The old sensor was completely black from the car running pig rich

What do you reckon caused it to go bad?

I suspect that I may have contaminated it with anti-seize when I transferred it to my new header a few months ago.

At least it was easy to remove.

Yup, no cursing, shouting, or excessively long breaker bar was required. The new sensor came with anti-seize already applied so I didn't have to worry about contaminating it this time around. This was an important life lesson: always make sure your anti-seize says "sensor safe" before using it on an oxygen sensor or other delicate sensor that is easily ruined.
