We got exactly one dry session at the end of Saturday's Turn2 event at The Ridge. Most of the day was some mix of torrential downpour and light misting. The sun always seemed to come out for B group though! Guess that was a sign to move up next year.

I set a new PR of 2:05:02 as the track was drying out. After watching the video, I think there are at least two seconds left on the table. Regardless, I'm super happy to end the season with that time!

Here's me reeling in a Mustang GT. That thing took OFF on the straights. Amazing to see how much later a BRZ can brake by comparison. I stopped measuring the distance in feet and rather started counting seconds until I'd stomp on the quiet pedal. These cars are amazing.

Substantial improvement! T1-2 look a lot better from your last video I watched. Everything looks nice and smooth. You decide against 2nd for T11 and 13-15?

Thanks! I think I need to prepare the front end a bit more in T1 so I don't lose FR grip as quickly. Luckily I can still average 60-65 up the hill vs 55 or so last time out.

I've been going back and forth with using 2nd in those sequences. I need to look at the data to see which was faster. I started using 3rd in the wet because I kept getting spooked from the rear end stepping out in 2nd. Traction is really bad in 13-15 when it rains there.

Lots of powerful cars almost lost it there.

Longacre Magnum Tire Pressure Gauge. A worthy investment. Amazing how accurate it is. My old gauge would read all four tires at 35 after pulling off from a hot lap, but the Longacre consistently showed up to 2psi difference between them.

Thanks to @CSG Mike for the recommendation. I'll pick up a pyro from them soon too.

I picked up a set of Perrin Steering Rack Lockdowns while putting together a plan for bushings/collars for the car. Looking forward to feeling the tightened up feel these should provide.

Let me know how you like those steering lockdown collars. I need to compare my old gauge to yours next time we run into each other. Mine is a good one, but it is 15+ years old lol.

Will do. Such a bummer that our track season is so short in the PNW

I've thought about driving down to THill sometime. Does 86Cup have general HPDE sessions? Edit: nm I saw the other thread.
