I am simply in love with how OEM it looks! This is the "BRZ STi" package everybody has been waiting for. This is truly the cleanest and well thought out kit I've seen to date. Rest assured, I will have this kit one day.

@hmong337 - I agree and a big reason I'm getting this or the Harrop kit (price will be the deciding factor I think).
@shiumai - looks so much better once it's installed than just the pics of the kit on a bench somewhere - the red that I didn't like initially actually looks cool once in the engine bay/under the hood.
@NotSoJDM - eagerly awaiting some driving/accelerating vids... that first one is really short, but looks damn good.

APR Radiator Shroud for OEM Air Intake Clearances with Edelbrock Air Intake

Hey @djdnz, and @Edelbrock LLC
While your looking at the firewall can I talk you into looking at the clearances on the Edelbrock air intake assembly?

The below images are of my APR CF radiator shroud with the OEM air intake. Any thoughts on clearances here? The cabinet maker ruler in the left side image is touching the bumper compressing the hood seal.

Thanks again and beforehand.

It will clear, but will need to be removed temporarily for the installation of the kit.

Working on some street stuff. Look back in this thread for track and mountain road driving.

Plan to do some cruising and acceleration vids. Any other specifics? I expect the cruising to be pretty boring??? lol but I'll give it a shot.

Theoretically? Something in the 550hp range, assuming the engine itself isn't the restriction.

Oddly enough, that's also about where the Rotrex C30-94's limit is.

Just out of curiosity, does the s/c kit applicable to automatic transmissions as well or solely for mt?

Thanks!

Jk

Sorry to add to the stigma here, but I too am an "engineer". At least that's what that piece of paper says. Can't say I do much relevant to my field.

Thanks Mike. Nice to have parts developed earlier in the vehicle's tuning cycle work with the latest.
Happy December
