Man that sucks, I hear about people getting hit by drunk drivers way too often and by a Prius no less thats harsh. Glad to hear you got out ok thats for sure.
Like many I agree that 3k can get you something nice for a year like an old civic. your insurance wont drop if it not that old and they keep good vaule over time. Heck im going to sell my 04 J-body off for 3500 to help buy the ft-86 and thats blue book. Good luck with what ever you end up doing. |

I believe in one policy, never use anything second hand. Always buy a new thing no matter how much time it takes.

Why? I've bought new and used. With very few good (IMO) new affordable cars these days buying used is not only smarter financially (to a point obviously) but almost required to get cars I enjoy driving without a monthly payment I don't enjoy.
