Member that discussion we had about HOAs?

Someone got involved in a litigation that ended up costing about $40K in legal fees and penalties because they built a fence that "encroached" common areas, by 8 inches initially, and then 1 inch (Finally 1 inch is considered too much, giggidy) which in all honesty looked like a wooded area that gets zero upkeep.

Oh! Oh! ...

SOVREN ( northwesthistorics.com ) is running the old racecar events at PIR this weekend.

This year features creaky old Lotus' of all sorts. Should be a complete snooze.
I plan on showing up Saturday and seeing how long a nap I can wedge in.

My wife wants to move. From 3K sq. ft on 1.5 acres no HoA, owned outright to 6K on .34 acres with HoA, 300K mortgage. I told her to tell her new family hello for me.

In any case, I looked up my name, and my previous addresses and phone number was easily available so there's that.
The other choice is to go to people's homes, near my neighborhood and hook my pressure washer and stuff there. The shop vac would be a little tricky to fit in the BRZ.

I would honestly prefer to have people come to me.

The other thing is price; I'd offer a pressure foam, hand wash, pressure rinse, with a complementary graphene spray layer, and hand towel dry. Maybe add a quick vacuum. So I'm wondering what would be a fair price?
If I did a car a day, after work, which is best because of outside temperatures, until my vacation date, say, $30 a wash, I could have bout $500 for extra cash. Or I could let people name their price to what they think is fair, I've found it that more likely to get extra money or more than what I expected If I keep things reasonable. Any thoughts?
I care too much to detail other people's cars.

Have you looked at what detail shops in the area charge for similar services?

The tradeoff is no sidewalks, no streetlights, no local police or fire department, and an hour away from anything worthwhile. It's not for everyone. The biggest kicker is when we moved here I arranged to buy the surrounding 3 lots at 20K a piece. Pretty much a car payment for all of them. She got cold feet and we released them back to the builder. Now they are going for 150-200K each. Hindsight is everything.
