I have a K&N panel filter and I found a perrin intake tube for sale, the one from the filter box to tb, would I need to calibrate my maf if I installed it. I dont have an OFT or anything so I dont want to buy the tube if I cant really use it.
If its this one: Then Yes MAF needs to be re-scaled

If this one: Then no tune adjustments are needed

Yeah, not a lot of difference in the tubes. As long as the airbox itself is unmodified you should be fine without MAF rescaling.

Basically of the stock box and maf is not relocated. The tube does nothing. Just modify the OEM to clean up the engine bay.

I like the mishimoto one because it retains the resonator chamber. They did multiple dyno runs with and without it and found it adds a few hp above 7000 rpm. From what I’ve seen, resonator chambers aren’t there for sound but rather to help reduce the slowing of intake air velocity from resonance or reversion. Not sure if that’s true or not but since they had the dyno sheets to show it, I figure why not.

Because their effect is minimal, there's not much to discuss. It's a cosmetic thing.

They're doing full exhaust now header back.
I haven't checked the site to see if headers are listed yet but I was told about 2 months ago when I went into the their store that it's coming.

FT86Motorsports based out of limoge, ontario, CA.

www.ft86motorsports.com

I just had a look and they have not started listing the header yet, but they have the front pipe/OP combo listed above, and a configurable 2.5" and 3"catback available now. They just launched their turbo kit which might be part of the delay.
