Better add fan blowing on it
But yes, due mentioned by Mike points of bad thermal properties, not sure slight weight savings are worth probably extraorbitant price and probable cracking issues. They could have at least make it long tube 4-2-1 to make interesting contender with Ace / Nameless with more area under curve.

Depends on the power curve of what @celek is looking for and where he wants to use it.

We have one

It comes with a high price tag and zero warranty. TI is just too vulnerable to cracking and with the close quarters of the FT chassis it just isn't something we want to push mainstream. Also without bending the design isn't optimal to the types of gains we prefer on our cars.

We do have long term plans for inconel, but we're just not there yet.

Why do we have one you ask? Because why not

While Titanium is light and resistant to high temps it does not fatigue well. As @CSG_Mike said, it will crack. Guaranteed. The best materials for headers in order are 304 ss, 321 ss, and 625 inconel. Although the materials are priced accordingly. And because of that 304 ss headers are most common.

321 headers are considerably more expensive but because of the materials fatigue resistance at high temps you can get away with thinner wall tubing and therefore a lighter header. Where .065" is suitable for 304 you can get away with 0.049" wall with 321. And same goes for inconel. Inconel headers can be insanely thin and still resist cracking. Like 0.029" wall thickness! If you ever get the chance to pick up a set of indycar, F1, GTLM, etc. headers they feel like tin foil. It's crazy!

Here is a more informative post on header materials: http://www.enginelabs.com/engine-tec...-race-headers/

We have a header that may suit your needs on the shelf. Meant for strictly high RPM & Race use.

There are some examples with titanium application for exhaust systems in f1. Even now.
Not just Inconel.
If you can find a special titanium alloy, there is no problem even with cracks. VT18m as a sample.
Usually it is the back side of exhaust systems, but in case of f1 car,it is still hot enough..Titanium heat conductivity is low, this is why temperature drop is lower and gases speed is higher.
