Something I haven't seen mentioned is the sun visor leaving a gap between the A-pillar when being used. Pretty annoying and I've found myself driving a little crooked to avoid the sun. It's even more useless when swung towards the window; not being able to extend, it leaves another big gap where the sun can hit the side of the face.

I noticed the rev limit is set to 4500 RPM when the engine is cold and then changes to your setting after the engine is warm.

Aftermarket sun visors is an untapped industry. Seriously. Most cars I'm in have this problem.

You can see what car phone mount I went with at this post. I am going to see if it will stay stuck to the dash. It seems promising.

Cell phone holder placement

EDIT: This is not where I put mine:
Name: cellphone holder.jpg

Size: 255.8 KB
I put the mount at the 10 o'clock position relative to the "AUTO" text. It has worked out fine in that spot and seldom interferes with the controls.

Only nit to pick so far is that there is no “good” place to lift/close the trunk. You can grab the lower edge to raise, but have no “good” place to use to push it closed. The top of the duck tail is the most convenient, but I am careful to not scuff/scratch the paint. Very minor, but is the only “bad” thing I have found so far.

I just grab one of the side rubbers, and pull it down.

I push down on the badge.

Maybe Perrin will make another handle?

hmmm that's a really good idea actually. I wonder if those are cross gen compatible too lol.

I've noticed the high pitch chirp that occurs after car reaches full warmup (mostly noticeable while idling) is greatly reduced/eliminated by disconnecting the active sound.

I thought I was going crazy over this noise or that I fucked up the car somehow. I also really need to disconnect active sound.

Any clue why active sound contributes to the chirp?

If there's a clutch assist spring on the clutch pedal then I recommend doing what I've done on every past car I've owned with one of these - throw it in the trash and don't replace it. Hate them so much; they're totally unnecessary and make it such a pain to operate the clutch smoothly and predictably.
